Plan Managers work closely with service providers and clients to make sure the plan is properly implemented and managed.
We may act as a Financial Intermediary since we provide plan management services and have extensive knowledge of providers and services gained through strong ties in the relevant community.
What is Plan Management?
At 1st for Care, we may assist the service user in strengthening their capacity to do activities related to the provision of their supports.
This includes developing financial skills, organisational skills, and increasing their ability to direct and/or create self-management capacities.
This service aims to improve our client’s capacity to complete duties related to the provision of care.
At 1st for Care we help participants manage their plans so that they can:
- Clients have a say in the service providers they employ
- They can obtain services from either NDIS registered or non-registered providers
- Their financial administration keeps them on pace with their budget. A Plan Manager will be able to process payments on behalf of our clients quickly and efficiently
An experienced accountant (CPA) will handle this with the NDIS, and the funds will arrive in three to five days to the other provider.
